Adam Barber received his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics from Grand Valley State University in 2009, his Juris Doctorate and his Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School in 2012.

In 2012, Adam began his legal career with Clark and Washington LLC, where he consistently led the firm in bankruptcy filings and litigation throughout his tenure. In 2014, Adam joined the public sector and served as the auditor for the Office of Conservatorship Management (OCM) for Nashville and Davidson County. As a flagship employee of the OCM, Adam helped develop the policies and procedures regarding the financial aspects of conservatorship matters for Nashville and Davidson County.

In 2019, Adam joined the team at Martin Heller Potempa & Sheppard, PLLC with a primary focus on probate administration and litigation. Adam’s path as the probate master has provided him with unique knowledge for his clients as he monitored the thousands of cases filed each year in the Seventh Circuit Court of Nashville and Davidson County. Adam has had the privilege to speak at several Continued Learning Education programs as a member of the judiciary and as a private sector attorney.
