Amy Amundsen has been practicing Family Law in the Memphis area for over 31 years. During that time, she has served as the President of both the Tennessee and Memphis Bar Association Family Law Section and Adjunct Professor of Family Law at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Ms. Amundsen served as the President of the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court, President of the Memphis Bar Association, the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Alumni Chapter and Chairman of the Memphis Area Legal Services Campaign. Presently, Ms. Amundsen is a Diplomate in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, which is comprised of only 100 attorneys across the United States; a Fellow in the International Academy of Family Lawyers; and a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has been named a Family Law Specialist with the National Board of Trial Advocacy and was awarded the Marion Griffin-Francis Loring Award from the Association of Women Attorneys, the Justice Joseph W. Henry Award for Outstanding Legal Writing from the Tennessee Bar Journal and the Judge Jerome Turner Lawyer’s Lawyer Award by the Memphis Bar Association. Ms. Amundsen lectures for national organizations and publishes in peer review journals.
