Candace Blankenship, RN, CCDS, is clinical project manager with Iodine Software, based in Austin, Texas. She started her CDI career at MedStar and continued to build her practice at Johns Hopkins and Mayo Clinic. She was the first recipient of the ACDIS Rookie of the Year award and has presented at previous ACDIS conferences on APR-DRG. She was a founding member of the ACDIS Regulatory Committee and is an active member of the Florida ACDIS Chapter.
