Carissa McKenna, RN, BSN, COS-C, HCS-D, is a senior clinical consulting manager at McBee with more than 21 years of experience in healthcare. Most recently she’s been focused on OASIS and coding, episode management, and on-site education. McKenna specializes in performance improvement and has experience with managed care, health maintenance organizations, clinical documentation, integrated chronic care management, and the Medicare survey process. She has developed and implemented several clinical workflows, as well as documentation and quality assurance tools.
