Cort H. Bethmann J.D., LL.M. is a trust advisor empowering clients to accomplish their financial and legacy goals by delivering proactive and practical wealth management advice. For over a decade, Cort has leveraged his experience as an estate planning attorney to tailor recommendations in several areas including complex estate planning, various trust strategies, asset protection, directed and delegated trusts, challenging family dynamics and charitable giving opportunities.

Cort earned his Juris Doctorate and Master of Law in Wealth Management from Texas A&M University School of Law. He also holds an Estate Planning Certificate from Texas A&M University School of Law for core concentration in the fields of estate planning, probate, and nonprofits. He received his bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Tennessee.

In addition to teaching the income tax portion of the CFP® program at the Belmont Center for Executive Education, Cort actively participates in the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee, Nashville and Williamson County Bar Associations, and the Tennessee Banker’s Association Trust & Estates Legislative Committee.
