Dr. Dea Kent is a progressive leader, cutting edge clinician and innovative consultant. In her 32 year nursing career, she has been a popular speaker in relation to leadership and issues related to wound, ostomy and continence care. She works across the continuum of care, and that allow her to have insight related to best practice and gap closing to promote best patient outcomes. Dr. Kent currently is serving as President-Elect of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society and is an Editor for the Journal of Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing. A robust lecturer and author, her goal for any session is at least one practical pearl for use at work tomorrow.
