Elisa Sninchak, M.Ed, RN, CCDS, CDIP, CCS, is CDI educator for Novant Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has 21 years of nursing experience, with 14 at the bedside in a Level I trauma setting. She began her CDI journey with Novant’s EHR implementation in 2014 and went on to create a CDI specialist orientation system that was used to onboard new CDI staff members. Sninchak is the co-founder of the ACDIS CDI Educator Networking Group, which she led for two years. Currently, she sits on the ACDIS CDI Scholarship Committee.
