Erica E. Remer, MD, FACEP, CCDS, is the president of Erica Remer, MD, Inc., based in Beachwood, Ohio. She was a practicing emergency physician for 25 years and has extensive coding, CDI, and ICD-10 expertise. Prior to consulting, she was a physician advisor at a large multihospital system for four years. She has written numerous articles and serves as the co-host of Talk Ten Tuesdays, a weekly podcast. Remer is currently a member of the ACDIS Advisory Board, the Board of Directors of the American College of Physician Advisors, and the ICD10monitor editorial board.
