Evan Koepke is an IAEM Certified Emergency Manager, PMI Project Management Practitioner, and Six-Sigma Green Belt. He entered the world of emergency management in 2008 while serving as a volunteer leader in the Mid-Atlantic wilderness search and rescue community. In 2013, Koepke was hired by Team Rubicon to serve as its first lead national operations planner. Over the next four years, Evan built the NGO’s operations planning program while supporting explosive growth and over 100 relief operations both domestically and abroad. These operations provided him a deep appreciation of the key role business and institutional preparedness plays in community resilience, emergency response, and disaster recovery. Today, he works as an emergency management consultant at Constant Associates where he assists private and public organizations in developing and implementing plans, policies, and programs for emergency and disaster preparedness.
