J. Robert Parkey, MD MTS HMDC CMD, currently serves as Medical Director for Healing Hands Healthcare and Little Black Bag House Calls, as well as for Presbyterian Manor and the Earl Crawford House of Hope in Wichita Falls. Parkey received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma campus in Tulsa. He holds board certifications in Family Medicine and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and certifications as a Hospice Medical Director and in Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. He has presented lectures at national meetings of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine, the National Association for Home Care and Hospice, and the Catholic Medical Association, as well as for numerous meetings and organizations on the state and local level.
