Judy Wilson has more than 38 years of medical coding/billing experience. For 26 years, she was the business administrator for a group of 11 cardiac anesthesiologists, and she is now self-employed as an educator, trainer, and auditor. She has had the honor of serving on the board of directors of the AAPC Chapter Associations from 2010 to 2014 and again from 2015 to 2017. She is a PMCC instructor and an AAPC-approved ICD-CM/PCS instructor. She serves on the National Advisory Board for the American Medical Billers Association. Wilson regularly presents at local and national conferences, and her articles have appeared in a number of publications, including JustCoding and the AAPC’s Healthcare Business Monthly.
