Kimberly Higgins, RN, CCDS, is the regional CDI manager for AdventHealth, West Florida Division. With a background in medical-surgical ICU and an emphasis in neurosurgery and cardiovascular disciplines, Higgins joined the CDI team in 2013, advancing to CDI supervisor in 2015 and CDI regional manager in 2016. Higgins is the 2019 recipient of AdventHealth’s “Keep Me Safe” award for her division.
