Madhu Subherwal, MHA, MBBS, CCDS, is the CDI manager at Torrance (California) Memorial Medical Center. After completing her master’s thesis, she was approached by Southern California Kaiser Permanente in 2012 to help create a CDI program for their 13 regional hospitals. At the end of implementation, she was given the opportunity to manage the program at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Currently co-chair for the California ACDIS chapter, Subherwal is also a member of ACDIS’ Leadership Council and its 2019/2020 Conference Committee.
