Mary Beth Bumbarger, RHIA, CHDA, CCS, is director of health information and quality management for the Brundage Group, based in Redington Beach, Florida. She has more than 30 years’ experience in healthcare focused on HIM, CDI, informatics and analytics, project management, and process improvement. She has held director and consultancy roles in both the government and private sector. Currently, she supports her team and clients in understanding value-driven healthcare and how clinical documentation affects the accurate portrayal of high-quality care.
