Michael H. Johnson is a member of Howard, Tate, Sowell, Wilson, Leathers and Johnson. An experienced litigator, Mr. Johnson has tried well over 100 liability cases to successful conclusion for clients around the state. He represents retailers, franchisees, and restaurants in security issue litigation, as well as traditional premises injury cases. Mr. Johnson represents lawyers in legal malpractice actions and before the Board of Professional Responsibility.

Mr. Johnson has extensive experience representing national insurers and similar entities in “Bad Faith” litigation and is a frequent speaker on the subject. His experience includes coverage analysis and representation involving commercial and personal lines; primary, umbrella and excess coverage; and first- and third-party coverage. Mr. Johnson represents clients in a wide range of contract disputes spanning several business contexts, including manufacturing, the service sector, professional service providers and casualty, liability, property, and health insurers.
