Haynie is a principal with Manier & Herod. For over 20 years, he has specialized in representing employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims. Mr. Haynie is frequently called upon to draft and advise on workers’ compensation legislation in the Tennessee General Assembly and has authored amicus briefs filed in the Tennessee Supreme Court on behalf of the business community. He is also actively involved in forums and rulemaking proceedings at the Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. In recognition of his contributions to the Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Law, Mr. Haynie received the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association 2016 Defense Lawyer of the Year award.
