Before founding the firm, Sean was a partner with the larger law firm Spicer, Flynn & Rudstrom where he practiced law since 1996. Before that, Sean was an associate at Leitner, Williams, Dooley, Carpenter & Napolitan in Chattanooga and Nashville. He has practiced all over the state of Tennessee starting his practice in Chattanooga and the surrounding counties and then, upon moving to Nashville, practicing in Nashville and the surrounding counties. In 2001, he moved back to his hometown of Memphis Tennessee and began practicing law in Memphis and the surrounding counties. As a result, he has practiced before judges in nearly every county in the state of Tennessee.

Sean has also been licensed in multiple states. After passing the bar in Tennessee, Sean took the bar in Georgia and obtained his license to practice there. Later, after moving to Memphis, Sean passed the bar in Mississippi and obtained his license to practice law there as well. His entire career has been dedicated to practicing law as an insurance defense attorney and a construction law attorney. As shown below, he has taught courses, volunteered, and received awards in his area practice.
