Sharon Cole, MSN, RN, CCDS, is the manager of CDI and utilization review services at UASI based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her 19 years of CDI experience includes several leadership roles, remote and on-site staffing, and development and implementation of orientation processes, policies, procedures, and competencies. She has presented a variety of local chapter events for both ACDIS and AHIMA. Cole was among the first CCDS certification holders to have sat with the first group of test-takers in 2009.
