Valerie Hogen, PESC, is the director of credentialing and enrollment for Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN). Valerie has 18 years of provider enrollment and credentialing experience. From 2003-2008, she worked with the Medicare Administrative Contractor, NHIC (a subsidiary of EDS/HP), served the California and New England region, where she was an analyst who reviewed Medicare enrollment applications and conducted onsite inspections. Later, she trained with CMS to be one of the first Medicare Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) trainers. She also previously worked for Palmetto GBA, in the provider education and outreach unit, working closely with provider groups. Since working for Medicare, Valerie has worked for multi-specialty provider groups to lead teams to properly navigate through Medicare, Medicaid, other government and commercial applications.
