2022 EmployER Engagement & Retention Master Class: A Disruptive but Simple Approach to Improving Employee Attraction, Engagement, and Retention | Cohort Kick Off

The Great Resignation is real, and the impacts of the global pandemic set the stage for a significant shift in how employers are managing their workforce. We will take a quick look at the current conditions in the U.S. workforce and set the stage for the urgent need for a new approach to engagement and retention.

Attendees will break out into small groups to discuss what is currently happening in their organization as it relates to engagement, the pandemic, and any other challenges they are currently facing.

Attendees will come back from the break and share with the entire class what their breakout groups discussed, as well as overall pain-points and strategies for overcoming them.

Work Institute annually publishes a national Retention Report highlighting why employees leave and other key trends in employee retention. There are also some indications that employee engagement rose during the pandemic and are now falling. Leaders must be aware of the impacts of external conditions and be prepared to tackle solutions.

At the end of this cohort, attendees will have the opportunity to ask our expert speakers any lingering questions they may have. Nelms and Nowell will also provide a glimpse into what will be sharing during the next cohort, taking place on May 3, 2022.
