Nancy Skaw, CCS-P, RHIT, CCDSO, is an outpatient CDI specialist at Mayo Clinic Midwest in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. With more than 25 years’ experience in all facets of revenue cycle such as patient services, denials management, patient financial services, and CDI, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her team. Her coding experience includes primary care and cardiology. Skaw was selected in 2016 to participate in the outpatient CDI pilot at Mayo Clinic Midwest that is now operational across the Mayo enterprise. Her efforts in training and education have facilitated onboarding other Mayo Midwest sites to operational status.
