Pence Livingston, BSN, RN, is the manager of CDI at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. She has 23 years of nursing experience, with 13 years in CDI. She was a founding member of the inpatient CDI team in 2009 and helped to develop the process of reviewing PSIs and HACs. In 2017, Livingston implemented an outpatient CDI project that is now a permanent program. In her current role, she collaborates with quality, coding, and provider partners to ensure clinical and coding integrity. She is a co-leader of the Colorado ACDIS chapter.
